Mark your calendars now and plan on attending MVAVC's Spring Meeting in Blue Springs, Missouri on Saturday, June 22, 2019!

We will meet at the Blue Springs Hy-Vee, 625 W. U.S. Highway 40, Blue Springs, Missouri.

 

Per the directions from its website, “From the intersection of Interstate 70 & State Highway 7, proceed south 2 miles to State Highway 40 and turn east. Store is on the left (north) side of Highway 40.”

 

The MVAVC Board will meet at 10. The plant sale set-up will be before noon.

 

If you are not a MVAVC Board member, you can come early to check-out the plant sale and/or come for lunch at 12 noon. We will have a short business meeting at 1:15 and our speakers will follow.

 

The afternoon's program will have something for everyone. Jill Jensen, our historian and developer of the new website, will present a look at the website. Photos and news from our shows and those from the affiliates are posted to the site. And there are more possibilities to be explored. Bring your questions and ideas to share.

Randy McMahill, a relatively new member to MVAVC, will discuss the techniques he uses to grow beautiful plants. Randy’s skills for growing award-winning plants were apparent at the first shows he entered. It’s always fun to learn how other great growers help make beauty happen. Come learn how Randy McMahill does it.

 

There should be something for everyone to take home to make their growing and sharing experiences better for the coming year. And, don’t forget the plant sale. You might find something new to take home as well.  See you in Blue Springs on Saturday, June 22!
