Hello African Violet Enthusiasts!!
Knowing that many AVSA affiliate clubs were unable to hold their African violet shows, AVSA has created a virtual show and convention to be unveiled next week! We invite all AVSA members (that includes YOU!) to submit photos of beautifully grown violets and gesneriads, and creative designs, into the Virtual Violets 2020 Virtual Show! Entries are being accepted this weekend. Information is available on the AVSA website (www.avsa.org) and in the notice below.
This is not just a show, this will be an entire AVSA Virtual Convention Experience!! If you have never attended a national convention, now is your chance. Everyone is welcome! Please check the Virtual Violets Convention website every day throughout National African Violet Week (May 25 – May 30) to see what new activities are happening that you may enjoy. There will be a commercial salesroom, educational programs, new introductions, selfies and messages by visitors, the virtual show with prizes, and a lot of information to share.
Please help spread the word of this unique event by sharing this information with your club members and others that would enjoy AVSA and all it has to offer. We look forward to connecting virtually during these unprecedented times.
